New Recipe: Spinach & Mango Smoothie

Smoothies are such a convenient way to enjoy your favourite seasonal fruit and create a nutrient dense, macro balanced meal. With the sweetness of fresh mango, paired with omega-3 and fibre rich chia seeds and nature’s superfood spinach, it’s the complete summer smoothie in a dash.

Tip: this is a great smoothie to get some greens into your little ones and if the colour is something that might turn them away, place it in an opaque cup/bottle with a straw.

Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tray of ice


  1. Add almond milk and chia seeds to the blender and let sit for 15 minutes for the chia seeds to go to work.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, excluding the ice, into a blender and blend until smooth or your desired consistency. If desired add in the ice and blend for a further minute.
