This recipe is one of my staples. It’s free from gluten, grains, sugar and dairy, and ready in ten minutes. For me, it’s an extremely economical way to eat red meat and keep my iron levels topped up. Give it a try – they’re so good, I promise you won’t miss the bread!
Ingredients
- 2 grass-fed beef patties
- 2 eggs, free range
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 large iceberg/cos lettuce leaves, washed
- ½ tomato, sliced
- ¼ avocado sliced
- Sugar Free Tomato Sauce
Method
- Cook patties and eggs in coconut oil.
- Serve in lettuce leaves with remaining toppings and Sugar Free Tomato Sauce. If you’re happy with get your hands dirty, wrap the lettuce leaves to form a burger in your hands and enjoy.
