Perfect Keto Bulletproof Coffee

No doubt you are now well aware how much we love a Bulletproof Coffee to start our day. Typically made with coffee, grass fed butter and MCT oil, it provides clean instant energy, promotes fat burning, increases mental output and can help to raise ketone levels. The problem with MCT oil however, is that even the smallest amount can cause digestive stress and irritation, leaving you with no other choice but to omit this key ingredient. Until now. Introducing Perfect Keto MCT Powder and our new favourite Perfect Keto Bulletproof Coffee.

Perfect Keto Bulletproof Coffee

Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • ¼-1/3 cup organic coffee beans, ground
  • 1 tablespoon grass-fed unsalted butter
  • 1 scoop Perfect Keto MCT Powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Method

  1. Make a standard espresso using a coffee machine or your preferred method.
  2. Add hot water to a blender to pre-heat.
  3. Empty water and add coffee, butter, MCT powder, salt and blend for 10-20 seconds or until creamy and well combined.

Why MCT Powder?

  • It’s much easier on the digestive system when compared to MCT oil.
  • It’s portable and perfect for travelling.
  • It adds a delicious creaminess to your Bulletproof Coffee to keep you going for hours.

Can this be used in Chai tea too? God forbid, but a non coffee drinker 😜

  2. Min Benstead

Yes it can! Substitute the coffee for your tea and take it from there. Please let us know how you go!

I do love my Bulletproof Coffee, so I have ordered some to give it a try while on special. Thanks for the Info.

Would this be suitable for the Freedom Fuel?

  5. Joan

Can I just say that seems to be a lot of coffee for 1 cup. I usually only use a teaspoon of ground coffee, and also why the butter? Isn’t that going to make it greasy? I have colitis, so can I use the Keto?

    Thanks for your help

Hello Joan, it is the equivalent of a standard espresso shot, not instant coffee. Butyrate comes from grass-fed butter which is a short chain fatty acid which reduces inflammation in the body. Grass-fed butter is high in omega 3s, vitamins A, K, D and E and a great source of fat. Blending grass-fed butter with your bulletproof coffee gives it a creamy latte feel.

Hello Lynette, it is not something we have tested as yet. If you do test it, please let us know how you go.

    Options for non dairy people?

  11. Min Benstead

Hello Sam, you could try ghee as an alternative. We’ve also had people try cacao butter with great success!

Hi what if u don’t have an espresso/ coffee machine?

  13. Min Benstead

Hello Lisa, many people use an Aeropress or the old fashioned coffee plungers to make their espressos.

Just wanting to try this after purchasing and watching Steph’s seminar-I’m very petite (5ft tall and around 40kg) and am wondering if I should alter amounts of mct oil and butter due to this? Tried bulletproof once a long time ago and I felt unwell later is only thing….also does a good decaf do the same thing or need the caffeine?? Thanks

Hello Hayley, if the Bulletproof didn’t agree with you last time I would try again using smaller amounts. Perhaps start at 1/2 a teaspoon and then work up slowly to 1 tablespoon, checking in with yourself to see how your body reacts and how you feel after drinking it. Perhaps also try ghee instead of the butter! You can certainly make a bulletproof using a quality decaf as well. Let us know how you go.
