There is nothing quite like a warm bowl of porridge on a cold winters morning and we have created a delicious version for you. Our Quinoa & Flaxseed Porridge is gluten free, protein and fibre filled and guaranteed to keep you satisfied all morning!
Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 1/3 cup quinoa flakes
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 cup filtered water
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch sea salt
Toppings
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
- Handful raspberries
Method
- To a small saucepan, add quinoa flakes, flaxseed meal, milk, water, vanilla, cinnamon and pinch of salt. Stirring regularly, bring to a simmer and simmer for 3-5 minutes until porridge thickens.
- Remove from the heat and top with almond butter, coconut flakes and a handful of raspberries.
- Enjoy!
